Megan Hartmann is a contemporary fusion
belly dancer and choreographer based out of
Columbia, Missouri. Megan studies at the
Suhaila Salimpour School of Dance in
Berkeley, CA, and she obtained her Level II
certification in the format in April 2009. In
Columbia, Megan dances with the
Dragonflies Contemporary Belly Dance
Company and trains at Moon Belly Dance
Studio. Megan recently won second place at
the 2009 MAQAM Belly Dance Challenge in
Chicago in the Pro Tribal Soloist Category.
Megan enjoys fusing strong belly dance
technique with a variety of different dance
styles, including modern, flamenco, popping
