The Winner is….
I am sure you are all wondering who won the pizza party so here it is Sherry Baileys
Tuesday 5:15 they were almost three times there size that day! GO Young
Expressions!!!!! Connor Hirsh won the Halloween Cat and treat Way to Go and he
was going as a Box for Halloween what fun!!!
Living Windows vs Christmas Show
There has been a little confusion about these events so I hope to clear it up. We
are not doing Windows because we have grown to big to be able to allow every one
to be apart of it so we have decided to have a Show at Cedar Hill instead this way if
you want to bring the family you can. The Show will be December 12th. We will
have three shows so that we can get everyone in. Your child will only be in one of
those shows unless she is in many different classes and they end up being on
different hours. But each class will only perform once. We also need some
volunteers to help with the backstage area on this night to make sure the kids are
organized and in the right place. If you think you would be willing to help please
sign up on the sign up sheet which we will have up front the same time the order of
the show goes up so be watching for it. We have decided to make this Christmas
show a benefit we will be taking a collection were all the money will be going to
“Hand on Hope” a group that is in missions and travels to help the hungry here and
all over the world, they make shelters for orphanages, they are disaster relief, and
they help to get women out of trafficking we will have more to come on this so you
know what it is all about and it is purely on donation bases only. Join in the fight to
save lives.
Christmas Show Costuming
For this show the teachers will find something in our costume closet to wear or they
will tell you what they want you to find. A lot of time it is just simple things like a
Christmas shirt and jazz pants or Christmas colored PJs, nothing to costly, that is
the goal.
Christmas Parade
Saturday December 6th is the day of the parade they are a slow this about getting
times out But the theme is “Toys,ToysToys” so we are still waiting on that
information, but last year we met about 1 pm and the parade started at 2pm so this
is the best we can tell you. We meet in the Truman parking lots normally the one
before you go under the bridge, but that to could change. We are still looking for
volunteers to help build the float. We have a few but could always use more. Also if
you know of some one we could borrow square bails from for that day please let us
know that would be great. We will start building the float in November so start
thinking about if you are willing to help. The more the better!!!
Purse Orders
Thank You for all who participated in the Fundraiser for our competition fees. The
orders are in and can be picked up. The next fundraiser they are doing is for the
next month they will be doing our snacks for us it is a little more expensive but think
of the cause to put a smile on the kids who really love to perform so keep buying the
candy and chips.
Shirt Orders
We will be turning in the orders this week so they will be in shortly so watch for the
signs letting you know they are in.
On to the recital
Attached to this sheet you will see the price of costumes and a note asking if you
will be in the recital in May this is so that we do not order extra costumes this year.
Costumes must be ordered in December to ensure that we have them in time. I
know that costumes are expensive but the recital is excellent and is such a great
experience for your child and a very positive moment in you and your child’s life.
Please really consider doing this with us it will be a blast!!!
